"And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters." - Revelation 1:15

From Omega Frequency: Special Episode: Revelations Chapter One…Verse by Verse (1:01:54):

We see his feet were like brass as if they burned in a furnace. Brass is a picture of God's judgement upon sin. In the Temple animals were sacrificed upon the brass alter (Exodus 27). The judgement involved fire and burning.

We also read that when the children of Israel were in the desert with Moses. They started sinning against God so He allowed a plague of venomous serpents into the camp (Numbers 21:6-9). They bit and killed people. Sin is like venom; once it is inside of you, it will kill you. When the people called out to God for forgiveness, he instructed Moses to lift up a brass serpent upon a pole. When a person who was bit would look upon that serpent upon a pole and see the judgement of death upon that serpent, they would be healed.

In John 3:14 Jesus said, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:"

Why is Jesus' feet like brass? In Genesis 3:15 it says Jesus will crush Satan's head stepping on it. When the devil bring temptation into your life and he tries to get into your head, remember it is his head where it belongs crushed under the judgement of Jesus' feet. Then let Jesus walk that victory into your situation.

Next we read his voice is the sound of many waters. To find the meaning of this let's go to Ezekiel 43:2, "And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory."

In this prophecy Ezekiel is describing the Jewish Temple which will exist on earth during the millennial reign of Jesus, where God's power and glory will be upon the earth. Now this picture shows us the authority of His strong and powerful voice during His rule and reign. Now this is not the sound of a lamb it is the roar of a lion.

Now will Satan have a short time in the book of Revelation to persecute the church? Yes, he will. Will Satan the serpent be defeated by the lion of the tribe of Judah? Yes, yes he will. Will he be crushed under the feet of brass? Yes. Will his Antichrist kingdom be overthrown by the kingdom of our messiah? Yes. Do we ever need to be afraid? No!
